The short answer? Everyone is different. But you already knew that. The long answer is that our product contains THC derived from the same Delta-9 compound you're likely familiar with. We think the combination of an equal dose of CBD and THC give a relaxed buzz. Depending on your experience and tolerance, our 5mg dosage will hit you differently. Some folks can drink cans of Louie Louie all day, while others need just a few sips to get going. We recommend taking a few sips and waiting 15 minutes to see how you feel before consuming more.

To state the obvious, it’s a drink! But more to the point, Louie Louie is infused with a cannabis nanoemulsion which means it’s fast-acting. People typically feel effects within 10-15 minutes of their first sips. While nanoemulsion sounds fancy, it just means that the THC & CBD are broken down into smaller molecules and made water soluble. This means you get evenly-dosed drinks that give you an onset more like drinking a beer or glass of wine. Traditional edibles can take anywhere from 45 minutes to two-plus hours to kick in and lead to a much different feeling than other cannabis consumption methods. Why so long? When you eat, the THC has to be processed by your liver which changes it and leads to the characteristic “edible” feeling. Keep in mind that if you're new to cannabis or fast acting consumables, you might feel the effects more quickly. The good news is that, with faster onset you can maintain control by taking a few sips and waiting to see how you feel before drinking more.

Love these! The satsuma one is actually my favorite, though I agree that it isn’t for everyone. It reminds me of a cocktail with fresh herbs in it. I’ve also never had an actual satsuma though, so… also love the cherry!

Cinnamon and thyme? On a satsuma?

I love all of Louie Louie’s seltzers… except the satsuma. Cinnamon and thyme? On a satsuma? That’s like putting ketchup on crème brûlée. Whoever dreamed this up has clearly never eaten a real satsuma — or possibly anything that grows on a tree. The end result tastes suspiciously like something you’d spray on weeds or use to glue down laminate flooring. Please, ditch the spice cabinet, grab some orange blossom or tangerine, and set this poor satsuma free. All of the other flavors are great.
