Festival Season in Louisiana - Louie Louie’s Favorites

Springtime in Louisiana means Festival Season.  If you don’t live down here you’d be forgiven for thinking that calling this a “season” seems like an exaggeration.  We assure you: it’s not.  In April there’s a travel-worthy festival every single weekend. Whether you’re into finding new flavors or discovering new music, Louisiana has a festival for you. Here are some of our favorites.

Billed as “The Largest International Music Festival in the US”, Festival International welcomes incredible acts to Lafayette, LA every spring.  This year’s lineup includes acts from Cuba, Jamaica and Nova Scotia, and of course the French Cajun music Lafayette is famous for.
